CHAPTER 1: AN OVERVIEW

Think of A Unified Theory of a Law as the legal operating system.   Individual laws are applications that run under it.  The operating system will be taught first, and then, to illustrate its utility, it will be applied to particular laws in various fields of law.

Let us begin with the axiom that a law has two aspects:
  1. a legal aspect and
  2. a factual aspect.
